Terms of Service

1. What we do

Syntax Innovations is an independent studio that designs and builds iOS apps for clients, and is developing its own software product for app developers. The Site describes our work and how to contact us. Nothing on the Site is an offer to sell a product or service; any engagement is agreed separately in writing.

2. Client engagements

Work we do for clients is governed by a separate written agreement, statement of work or invoice between Syntax Innovations and the client. If anything in those documents conflicts with these terms, the written agreement controls for that engagement.

3. Apps

The apps shown on the Site were built by Syntax Innovations for clients and are published on the App Store under the clients' own accounts. Your use of any such app is governed by that app's own terms, its privacy policy and Apple's App Store terms, not by these terms. App names, icons and marks belong to their respective owners.

Our own product, an App Store listing localization tool, is in development and not yet available. Its terms will be published before it launches.

4. Using the Site

You agree not to:

• use the Site for any unlawful purpose;
• attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, its hosting infrastructure or related systems, or interfere with their operation;
• scrape, crawl or copy the Site at a volume that degrades it for others; or
• misrepresent your affiliation with Syntax Innovations.

5. Content and ownership

The text, design and code of the Site belong to Syntax Innovations unless otherwise noted. You may view and link to the Site, but you may not reproduce or redistribute its content without our written permission, except as allowed by law.

6. Third-party links

The Site links to third-party websites, including the App Store. We do not control and are not responsible for their content, availability or practices.

7. Disclaimer

The Site is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of harmful components.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Syntax Innovations will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the Site. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Site will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars (USD 100). Liability under a client agreement is governed by that agreement.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute relating to the Site will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Sheridan County, Wyoming, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

10. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top shows the latest revision. Continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
